Aug. 26th Foul Play, Vile Style, Crusades

This week started out like any other, school, going to Kelly O's and doing what I do. Wednesday came along and after a long day of school get a surprise that was like no other. Seems Christopher decided to fly from Regina to come hang out here for a couple days. Coming out side and having him out there blew my mind. Had a rager of a night Wednesday partying with him and couldn't have been happier.

Saturday I put on my first show Foul Play, Vile Style, Crusades. So good to see all these guys and Floppy Matt and also the Gravemaker boys, always a pleasure, as well as all the other friends who came out. The show was in a dance studio so that was an experience, dealing with the owner was actually awesome and she was nothing short of unreal. hopefully more shows will go down there even though her blinds are no more. All the bands played great with both vile style and foul play covering Negative Approach and Crusades covering the Offspring, kids arn't alright. Good show and good friends.

After the show everyone went to boston pizza and then everyone one left but the die hard, Mark gone mad, Andrea, Jordan Style, Chris Edge and Jaz. We decided to go camping, at about 3am. By the time we got to where we were camping we were all either wrecked or ready to hunt bears. Mark and Andrea popped up their tent no problem but when i unrolled my dads tent I realized there were no poles so that idea was out. Chris and Jordan slept just on the grass with blankets while I hid away in my car. Chris and Jordan were wokin up by the sprinklers while I was baked alive by the sun and woke up to a parking lot of people around my car. Good night and hopefully those dudes will come back soon.

Sunday I went to Vernon to Celebrate Ryan Ramseys B day. We went to the Hutchinson's and kicked it there and then headed to their cabin where their cousin was having a get together of her friends. By this point i was wrecked and speaking in gibberish and just couldn't stop talking. Cooked pizza with my bare hands on the fire and went swimming in ice water, cool idea Conner. The drive back to Kelowna was hella scary, half asleep, rain and night, the situations I get myself into...

Monday I woke up went to Vernon again and hung out with Chris and the Gm guys, good mellow day then came back to Kelowna and went to Nat's bday. After that I went out for dinner with Damien and Ryan. Good weekend.

I really need to post some school things on here, maybe if i had a scanner, one day. Lately things here have been pretty okay, figured out I'ma be living with Daisy Dukes for the next month then hopefully have my own house after that. Thanks again Daisy. I'm also getting pretty good at Foosball, anyone want to challenge me let me know.at least I'm improving something at school.

Aug 19th Vancouver!

things have bin pretty good, definitely getting better. I am defiantly learning I can do things on my own and that's pretty cool. I've bin having kind of a weird new out look on Kelowna, definitely miss Vancouver still. Had a lot of projects due last week and a super early life drawing class on Monday, was brutal and was super frustrated by the end. Pretty stressful weekend dealing with school and the struggle to find a venue for this show on the 23rd. One more mid term then it will chill out for a bit. This weekend i went to Vancouver with Ryan, was unreal. Crazy zombie walk on Saturday and then met up with Jared and the rest of the Vancouver homies, including Tristan who moved away while I lived there and i didn't know he was back, we had a lot of fun, went to a movie and just had to much fun. A bunch of us stayed at hunters and was a good time, woke up early and went to bins witch also ruled.

Really miss fun, my friends and not having any worries. Seeing so many true friends was awesome, so syked I gotta see Jarod, and hang hard. Still a lot of people i miss but hopefully see them soon to.

Came home and it was my dads birthday, was kinda weird seemed like he had a lot of stuff going on upstairs and has a lot to think about, dropped some heavy feelings, was good. this weekends vile style and foul play, wich means floppy mat and Vancouver homies, cant wait.

Aug.12th

man I just haven't been in a blogging mood lately. This last weekend I went to Revelstoke on Saturday morning and then Sunday went white water rafting with my mom and step dad, good times were had and definitely slayed some gnarly rapids. Good to see my mom and step dad also my dog. Bin kinda busy lately having 3 major projects due in 2 days, a website, a magazine cover and another photo shop project, also trying to put on this Foul Play, Vile Style show has bin a bit of a pain trying to find a venue and what not, luckily things are looking good and Mark gone mad is unreal. Last night I had a wicked night, watched the meteor shower and woke up feeling pretty syked on life witch is good. Kinda feel like I haven't bin as positive lately and bin kinda in a slump, this is gotta change and today is the first day in that direction. Bin kicking it with Googs alot lately and eating at Kelly O's as much as possible. Also got a new phone I'm pretty juiced on. Missing alot of people in alot of places and have been really struggling with knowing I could be on tour instead of school September, gotta do what you gotta do I guess. This weekend I'm going to Van to see The Dark Knight in IMAX and hang with that crew, can't wait.

August 3rd

I've really been slacking on the blog posts. Not a lot is new had super short notice to move out of my house, luckily Daisy Dukes came to the rescue. Bin super stressed, quit my job to hopefully reduce some stress. Bin kinda slacking in school and not fully giving it my all. Hopefully now i can put some more effort into that.

Had an awesome day today, me Damien and Ryan went to Enderby and met up with the Vernon possi and some people from Edmonton and floated the river, was awesome. Partied farely hard and made some new friends, always a plus.

Seen a couple movies recently, Hancock, was pretty okay, needed a villain or some major event, kinda lacking there but a solid will smith movie non the less.

Step Brother, good for a cheap laugh, funny but terrible movie in all, go see it if you wanta laugh.

The Dark Night, Movie is unreal, I've never left a movie so excited ever, everything except Batmans voice was unreal, the Joker mad me feel so uncomfortable and I just couldn't look away. A must see for sure.

that's about all that's new got a new phone, loving that and just trying to take one day at a time and make the best of being in Kelowna
