Last couple days have bin pretty busy, had an awesome weekend and this week has been alright so far. Last weekend on Thursday was the Bane, Outbreak, Gravemaker show, Gravemaker played awesome, to bad a lot of kids weren't inside yet to enjoy them, Outbreak was not as good as other times but still doing there thing so that was cool but Bane blew me away, never been the biggest Bane guy always liked them, but live unreal truly brought the energy a band should and seemed like they were happy to be there, played Can we Start Again second song in and that song makes me syked. Other then the bouncers and other dudes trying to stop kids from stage diving and almost getting kicked out, good show. Maybe not the best venue for something like this but hey what other options are there?
Friday was a good day to, Ill Intent and Life in Hand played here, both sets were awesome. So good to see my friends, had a really good time that night, went down town and just chilled, Ill Intent had some good tour stories and seemed to have had a successful tour witch is always a good thing to hear. That night both bands stayed at my house and i think there was a total of 12 people sprawled across my house, good vibes. Next morning we went out for breakfast and kicked it for a bit before Ill Intent headed out.
Gravemaker also got in a accident this day, thankfully they were all alive and going to be okay, best wishes for a speedy recovery.
That night I went to Vernon Saturday night to have Thanksgiving dinner with Chris's family, was a really good dinner even better desert, Chris's mom is the thanks giving desert queen in my books, fruit pizza is unreal as well as a unique twist on apple pie. After dinner I headed back to Kelowna to go to work, pretty weak night at work nothing really happened other then a drunk girl I watched bail really hard.
Sunday I slept in then headed to Ryan's for Thanks giving dinner round 2. Good dinner, The raw vegy and noodle salad was awesome and the dark meat of the turkey was cooked to perfection. Another great dinner.
Monday I layed low and went to my own family dinner, nice to see what everyone is up to.
Thanks to all the families that let me join them for thanks giving, I think it's slowly becoming my favourite holiday.
This week has been pretty busy, Tuesday Life in Hand stayed with me, gotta spend some time with Chris. and also had a full day of school. Wednesday I went to school then went out for wings witch has bin the tradition for 3 weeks now, ate 36 wings felt great still do, maybe next week 48 see how I feel.
So far this quarter in school has been really okay. Both my 2D classes are awesome and I'm really enjoying that, hopefully soon I can post a animation I finished today. Introduction to the game industry is good, we sit around and talk about video games, the video game companies, and video games history. 3d modelling is pretty okay nothing really to sweet yet hopefully something more interesting will come along soon. Life drawing has bin rough this quarter and just haven't been impressed with anything I've been doing in that class so far. But PDP I don't even know what it stands for, I have it Wednesday mornings and the intire class I feel like I'm being converted to a religion I don't want and then it turns into an after school special with everyone hugging and crying. I don't get it.
Life in Hand and Vanguard are coming through Kelowna soon spread the hype.
Keeps your eyes out for the YouTurn Demo, coming soon.
